The behind-the-scenes work of the finance teams at the OM offices throughout Africa has seen an influx of new workers at just the right time.

A transformation occurred in the Androy region when the OM team implemented the Discovery Bible Study method and focused on developing local believers.
Following God's calling, Elysé dedicated his background in finance to missions work, overseeing financial development and communication marketing for OM's 14 ministry fields in Africa.

There were times when Deborah wondered: “Am I too young to do this?” or “Am I experienced enough?” But each time God showed her that He had a plan.
Fourteen young people participated in a month-long outreach within in their country. The result: unity.
Siniore desires for her family and friends to know Christ’s love as she does. After a training, she took what she learnt and put it into practice.
"Why was being a foreigner a problem though? It isn’t wrong. It’s not a bad thing, nor anything to be ashamed of. It simply means ‘I’m not from around here.’ But in my mind to be called a local would have meant that I had made it – that I had fully adapted and that I ‘belonged.’ And while it is important and recommendable to assimilate into the local culture where you are, it is equally important to remember that the world is not our home," said OMer RJ.
