To equip and send near-and-same-culture workers from Azerbaijan and Turkey into the harvest.
Caucasus is an amazing opportunity for focusing on training AND sending teams of near- and same-culture workers among the least reached. REACH: Caucasus is based in Batumi, Georgia bordering Turkey and Azerbaijan, a very well positioned and neutral location for nationals of the more sensitive Muslim countries to come to and receive training. The unique thing about REACH: Caucasus is that it not only envisions and equips new workers, but it aims to see teams of the participants forming and being sent long-term amongst the least reached. Our major question from the beginning is “Where is the LORD sending you and who from this training are you to go with?” REACH: Caucasus is accompanying the new workers and teams on this journey and sees them as an integral part of the ministry in the Turkic speaking world.
The program is in Turkish and Azerbaijani. We cannot take students who do not speak either of these languages fluently.
People of a Turkish speaking background. We prefer people who have already graduated or who are in the workforce.
Students will stay in apartments across Batumi.
Students are given allowances each week and expected to cater for themselves by a simple lifestyle. Some team meals will be shared together.
Students and/or their churches must arrange for the necessary cost to travel to us.
We require students to have travel insurance during our program. We recommend individuals be fully vaccinated before travelling. People who are not vaccinated will need to check the policy of entering Turkey.
Georgia is a very simple country for visa purposes. Most nationalities will not need visas. There will also be travel to Turkey and Azerbaijan during the program. Potential students should check all of these countries’ visa policies before arriving.
